This captivating exhibit will shine a spotlight on a diverse array of local artists who delve into the rich palette of orange, exploring its varied shades, tones, and textures through an impressive assortment of artistic mediums. Visitors can expect to encounter both 2D and 3D works that vividly capture the essence of this lively hue. "Orange" serves as the second installment in our dynamic series that celebrates monochromatic creativity by focusing on each color of the rainbow in succession. Through this exhibition, we aim to illuminate not only the vibrancy but also the intricate beauty and depth that can be found within a single color spectrum. The featured artists bring their unique perspectives and techniques to life, crafting pieces that invite viewers to experience orange in ways they might never have imagined. “Orange” features the work of Ivan Macarambon, Lisa Kay Bowen, Merrie Taverna, Carissa Eich, Zachariah Collins, Carol Sewell, Sarah Trieckel Detwiler, Marija (Maya) Redzic, e. y. reilly, Orion Gallagher, Sue Wright, Mori (Acrylic Ninja) Pablo, Greg Meyer MD, Stephanie Leventhal, Hugo Marino, Jeff Weiss, Jimmy Fike, Wade Carter, Christen Carns, Bjorn Bengtsson, Shane Street Imagery, and Pallavi. This exhibition cycle will present the work of local artists whose work explores various shades, tones, and textures of red. Red is explored through a variety of mediums, in both 2D and 3D work. This exhibition is the first in our vibrant new series exploring monochromatic works in each color of the rainbow. Each exhibition in this series will explore the beauty and depth of a single color, starting with fiery and passionate hues of red. “Red” features the work of Dana Kamberg, Winter Echoes Hill, Bryan David Griffith, Matt Kelley, Lana Nguyen, Loretta Tedeschi-Cuoco, Kim Lyon, Maya Juarez-Pena, Orion Gallagher, Denise Yaghmourian, Hugo Marino, Paula Driscoll, Daniel Prendergast, Mariela Paeva, Sarah Simmerman, Jeff Weiss, Adam Gonzales, Wade Carter, Gustavo Ramos, Greg Meyer, Marija (Maya) Redzic, Lorraine Swartz, and Michelle Rykalsky The exhibition will be hung in the studio space at FOUND:RE Phoenix and opens to the public on January 17th.
