Feeling extra grateful for the incredible Foundation Health team this week. In our latest installment of Mission Makers, we’re shining a light on our design mastermind, Danny Care. As Design Lead at Foundation Health, Danny brings a decade of professional healthcare design experience to the team, and years of study and practice before that. “Computers and art were two of my hobbies growing up, and now I get to enjoy both every day. I have a passion for problem-solving, finding creative solutions and sharing new ideas. I’ve been designing apps, websites and experiences within digital healthcare since 2017, when in the UK we started to see many traditional processes become digital. My role at Foundation Health is primarily UX/UI, as we’re building and refining our products. This includes designing web interfaces, user journeys, discovering user scenarios and creating a frictionless experience for our clients and patients. I’m also building out our in-house Design System which underpins all of our digital products. This system supports us as a team to create, build, launch and scale new products at a rapid pace. We have an all-star team of talented, driven and supportive people who share the same goal, and knowing we are having a positive impact on people’s lives is incredibly fulfilling.” Fun fact: After traveling around Asia for a few years working remotely, Danny and his partner settled this year in the beautiful British Cotswolds. When he’s not working, he’s outdoors running, walking or playing guitar in the hammock.
