We talked with KCRG-TV9 yesterday about the work our team is doing with Stand Up for Peace. Our Group Violence Intervention team and our partners approach individuals at highest risk of engaging in violence, explain the consequences of violence, and provide services to help them achieve their goals without violence.

Congratulations to Shanna Hawkins, our second recipient of The Big'ler Deal Award, named after one of our founders, John Bigler. Shanna leads our Suicide Loss Survivor Support Group and manages one of our community-based crisis programs, CSCBS. Shanna is an invaluable part of our team. Way to go, Shanna!
