Our big announcement is ... our name is evolving from Together We Rise to Foster Love. Our mission, vision and various programs will remain the same. The only thing changing about our organization is the name. We decided to update our name to Foster Love as a way to put our mission forward. With the name Foster Love it is clear that we support foster youth, and we hope this shift will inspire more people to get involved. GIVE Month is off to an amazing start! We kicked things off with a BAM Townhall in the office, where we jumped into two micro-giving activities that were both impactful and inspiring. We partnered with Foster Love to build skateboards for kids in need and wrote uplifting cards for Cardz For Kidz It’s incredible to see our community come together to make a difference. Giving back to our communities and supporting the livelihoods of children and families has always been woven into the fabric of our company's DNA. This month, our Hannas brought this commitment to life via three very special volunteer moments. ??Disney Days with Foster Love (Anaheim, CA): Our volunteers helped bring joy to siblings separated by the foster care system, reuniting them for a day of magic and unforgettable experiences. ?? Project Lemonade (Portland, OR): Our team empowered foster youth by fulfilling personalized shopping requests, assisting foster youth with their in-store shopping experience, crafting no-sew blankets, and more. ?? Samaritan House of San Mateo County: Our Hannas supported families in need by packaging hot meals and food kits for distribution. Leadership Oakland was honored to partner with Foster Love, a nonprofit focused on helping families with foster kids throughout the United States. LOXXXV was able to build 10 bikes for foster kids who are supported by Anas Treasures, a nonprofit in Roscommon that helps foster parents care for their children.
