Our space at the new WA Department of Children, Youth, and Families Cascade office has been filled with cozy furniture, therapeutic toys, engaging activities, and at least one dinosaur! When children find themselves at a welfare office, for whatever reason, our Caring Companion volunteers will be there to offer a friendly face, a warm hug, and a listening ear. We're proud to collaborate with DCYF offices to create a brighter future for foster children. ?? When she's not busy being a supermom to her kids, pets, and plants, Kelli Anderson is passionate about supporting caregivers and ensuring everyone has the resources they need to thrive. On December 14 & 15th, Fosterful will host our annual holiday gift giveaway for foster and adoptive families in our community! That weekend, caregivers will get to shop and handpick special toys, clothes, gifts, and stocking stuffers for kids ages 0-17. We're thrilled to announce the launch of our Caregiver Support Project, designed to provide families with the trauma-informed essential resources and support they need to navigate the joys and challenges of foster care. Starting December 1st, caregivers can access a wide range of services, including: Transportation Assistance, After School Care, Respite Care Sourcing, Positive Behavior Strategies & Crisis Intervention, 24/7 Crisis Hotline, Case Management, and more!
