关于我们
The Forum Club of the Palm Beaches is Florida's largest non-partisan political and public affairs organization. Since 1976 when President Jimmy Carter served as its inaugural speaker, the Forum Club has hosted a majority of U.S. Supreme Court justices and a variety of thought leaders whose words and actions affect the world in which we live. As a nonprofit organization, the Forum Club’s purpose is to inform and educate the community’s social, business and political interest and to promote a more active participation by all citizens in the democratic process. It’s mission: “Stimulate thought. Promote dialogue.”

Yesterday, Forum Club of the Palm Beaches had the opportunity to learn from General David H. Petraeus, US Army (Ret.) during a discussion with #ForumClubPB Board President Kalinthia Dillard. A sold out event with 700 attendees and more tuning in online, General Petraeus shared his profound insights on national security and foreign policy while also signing copies of his latest book, Conflict.

As the Forum Club’s inaugural speaker nearly 50 years ago, former President Jimmy Carter set the trajectory for what the Forum Club continues to achieve - joining together in celebration of our differences to stimulate thought and promote dialogue among our community’s top leaders. Thank you, President Carter, for your profound impact on the Forum Club nearly a half century ago and the considerable influence you’ve had on so many other nonprofits and citizens throughout the country. As we remember President Carter’s life and legacy, we keep his family in our thoughts and prayers. "The bond of our common humanity is stronger than the divisiveness of our fears and prejudices." — President Carter’s closing remarks during his Nobel Peace Prize address in 2002

Thank you for joining our members and guests for a thought-provoking discussion, Governor Miki Bowman!
It was such a pleasure to join the membership of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches in Palm Beach on November 20th to discuss the importance of pragmatic approaches to agency policymaking. Thanks so much to Sarah Criser Elwell and Fabiola Brumley for the invitation and opportunity to discuss these topics with your members and guests. I especially enjoyed meeting with business leaders and local high school students before and after the discussion. The efforts of local economic development organizations in the Palm Beach area are a unique and impressive example of creative approaches to growth and opportunity. Thanks also to Kathy Kraninger and the Florida Bankers Association for arranging a banker round table during my short visit. These opportunities to hear directly from our regulated banks are absolutely essential to my ability to be effective in our work. Kalinthia Dillard
