Check out a few pics from a powerful day of reflection, inspiration, and connection at the J.W. Barton Leadership Program Closing Retreat this past Saturday! The group kicked things off with a walking tour of downtown Baton Rouge led by Downtown Development District's Whitney Hoffman Sayal, AICP, followed by a storytelling session and Pechakucha presentations. Allie Diefendorf with Baton Rouge Youth Coalition talked about mentoring, Kenny Nguyen shared the Good News about Baton Rouge, and there was some real-talk about what’s next in leadership from a passionate panel of local leaders. From the streets to the classroom to the closing celebration—this group showed up, spoke up, and reminded us why the future of Baton Rouge is in good hands! #Forum225
