Opera terminology can be a little intimidating at first, but we’re here to help make it simple! Let’s start with the word "aria." In opera, an aria is a solo performance where a character expresses deep emotions, such as love, longing, triumph, or heartbreak. These powerful moments allow singers to showcase their vocal brilliance and bring the story to life. Think of it as the show-stopping number that leaves you breathless!
