  • Spring bulbs are beginning to bloom at FWBG, showcasing some of nature’s most stunning seasonal flowers!! ??? ?? Tulips – They are unique among flowers because their petals close at night and reopen with the sunlight—a process called nyctinasty! ?? Daffodils – Known scientifically as Narcissus, daffodils have a fascinating defense mechanism. They produce a natural chemical called lycorine, which makes them unappetizing to deer and rodents. ?? Snowbells – These delicate, bell-shaped flowers often get mistaken for Lily-of-the-Valley but are part of the Amaryllis family. These seasonal blooms won’t last long—now is the perfect time to visit and experience the magic of spring at FWBG! Whether you're taking a peaceful stroll, capturing photos, or simply enjoying nature, there’s no better place to embrace the season. Visit The Garden and tag #FWBG in your favorite spring bloom photos! ??? #SpringAwakening #GardenBeauty #FWBG

Many plants have UV markings that act as “landing strips,” guiding butterflies directly to nectar-rich areas and ensuring successful pollination. ??? At FWBG, our Butterflies in the Garden exhibit brings you close to these incredible pollinators, showing how their unique vision helps shape the natural world. Want to experience the world through a butterfly’s eyes? ??? Visit our immersive rainforest exhibit and witness their beauty in action! Plan your visit today: https://bit.ly/4gRSrpt ?? Capture the beauty of butterflies and share your photos with us using #FWBG and #BITG!
