At FortisureIT, part of our mission is to help cultivate local talent into leaders, and we’re thrilled to have recently had the opportunity to work with the bright young minds at our local university Kent State University! Last week, our Executive Director of Client Excellence Robert Kozak joined the students at Kent State University’s?Hacksu club to discuss ways that students can set themselves up for career success as they develop skills through college. Throughout our session, we had a fantastic open dialogue that allowed students to ask questions and get a better sense of life after college. The privilege of talking first hand with our future professionals in tech about what to expect in the working world, which can be uniquely different from the classroom, is something we cherish and are proud to be a part of. HacKSU is hosting their annual Kent Hack Enough Hackathon February 15-16th, which is a great opportunity for students to gain experience coding as well as for companies to connect with the next generation of talent while bringing awareness to their organization.
