We are grateful to be apart of the 9th & Navajo Street project located in the La Alma-Lincoln Park neighborhood. 9th & Navajo is a mixed-use development with supportive and affordable homes, uniquely and 1st of its kind, coupled with a primary healthcare clinic. The project is a collaboration with Mercy Housing Mountain Plains, Native American Housing Circle, and Denver Indian Health & Family Services. The groundbreaking was not just a ceremony, it was a celebration! The ceremony opened with a blessing and ground cleansing from Doug Good Feather with Lokata Way Healing Center along with several native dancers. Mr. Good Feather said "We are all indigenous to our Earth, we have a responsibility to it (and you all are contributing to make it better)." Over 15 speakers followed including City of Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, Governor Polis and several other city officials and key financial partners. Modera Cook Street is transforming the site of a 55-year-old office building at the corner of Cook Street and 2nd Avenue into a 250,000-square-foot, 110-unit luxury apartment building. The Skyline at Highlands, the largest multifamily apartment building to open in the city of Denver since 2021, celebrated its Grand Opening last week!
