It was a great time at the International Women's Day event last week!. We had a chance to gather and celebrate the women making an IMPACT in the AEC Industry. Last week team members at our East County Library site hosted a career day for a group of students interested in construction from Sam Barlow, Gresham, and Springwater Trail High Schools. The overlap of interest and personal experience is especially exciting as the library will directly serve their schools and communities. ? The tour was coordinated in conjunction with Portland Workforce Alliance and each of our team members shared their unique career path that led them to Fortis. Students toured the East County Library site and witnessed the last day of the tower crane as the project progresses. ? Special thanks to Kevin Kelly, Jason Kribbs, Beau Brundage LauraBeth Lewis Monica Emmons, Ruben Blancas, Tom Sowa, Matt Hanson and Mill Plain Electric for making an impact on the next generation of builders! ?
