Forthright hosted an engaging and informative DRP seminar last week in New Jersey, focusing on the latest legal developments in PIP (personal injury protection) arbitrations. Key discussions included:? ?? A pivotal New Jersey Supreme Court opinion on the status of e-scooter riders ?? Recent advisory committee opinions on professional ethics, specifically as they relate to fee-sharing and pro se lawyers ?? Technological improvements for arbitrators A special highlight was our session with Renee Fossen, Director of Arbitration for FORUM, who provided valuable insights into the arbitration landscape in Minnesota. Her contributions enriched our understanding of Forum’s many dispute resolution offerings and fostered a collaborative learning environment. ? Thank you to all participants for making this seminar a success! Your active engagement and insightful questions made for a dynamic and productive session. Looking forward to our continued growth and collaboration in the field of arbitration! #PIPArbitration #LegalUpdates #ArbitrationSeminar #ProfessionalEthics #ThankYou

To find out who has registered a particular domain name, prior to May 2018 you could do a quick WHOIS search. However, with the enactment of privacy laws regarding data protection, the publicly available registrant information is scant. ICANN has implemented what is known as RDRS for those requesting registrant information, but is voluntary for the holders of the data and requires specific information from the party requesting the information. While this may be a useful tool in certain circumstances, rest assured, once a domain name dispute complaint is received, Forum will continue to provide verified registration data from the registrar as usual. Easy! #DomainLaw #DomainRegistration #DataPrivacy
