Forth+Back is a cross-disciplinary creative studio working with both cultural and commercial brands. Our capabilities are broad and span from creative direction and identity design, art direction and photography, to all levels of print and digital design. As an agile boutique studio, we adapt to projects both big and small—building our team with the appropriate practitioners from our curated network of diverse creatives. We feel that design is rooted in dialogue. As such, we believe in clear and personable communication throughout our process in order to collaboratively bring projects to a place that is greater than the sum of its parts. Forth+Back was founded by Nikolos Killian and Tanner Woodbury.

Known for their collaborations with global brands like Apple, Adidas, and The North Face, as well as some of the world’s most renowned music artists, the studio thrives at the intersection of creativity and culture. Our studio partnered with SixTwentySix to create a new brand identity and website that reflect their forward-thinking vision while maintaining the versatility to engage diverse audiences. Forth+Back?'s NFL 23-24 campaign for Nike blends nostalgia with modernity, drawing inspiration from ’60s and ’70s trading cards — think expressive typography, vibrant colours, and iconic player signatures. Heat map-esque visuals capture game moments abstractly, inspired by vintage airbrush artwork.     New album packaging created for Jacob Cummings! ?????? -- Jacob Cummings, a multi-disciplinary artist and musician originally from Jacksonville, Florida, brings his unique narrative to life in his debut studio album, Southern & Enlightened. Forth+Back collaborated closely with Jacob to design the album packaging, capturing the authenticity of his roots while adding an intimate, eclectic touch. Drawing inspiration from personal photography, sketchbook illustrations contributed by friends and family, and collage cut-outs, the design offers listeners a visual journey through snapshots of Jacob’s life.     Looking to the DIY ethos of the 60s and 70s, Forth+Back?+Back’s rebrand for LA-based production company Brother Films channels a nostalgic Boy Scout aesthetic while maintaining a professional edge. A friendly serif typeface takes centre stage, complemented by playful 'B' shapes and graphic devices that wouldn't look out of place on patches or field guides.     Another Kickoff Classic in the books at Nike HQ ??? ?? ?? We were thrilled to be back on campus and see our identity design for?Nike Football?in action once again. Some of the best high school athletes from around the world battled for the title of 2024 KOC Champion and left it all on the field. Congrats to all the kids that had the opportunity to compete as well as the Nike fam that put on another amazing event ???
