The Fort Campbell Historical Foundation is a public non-profit educational foundation dedicated to educating the American people, honoring the legacy of our Soldiers, and inspiring our youth to a life of service to our country and our fellow citizens. The foundation was established in 1992 to support the development of the Don F. Pratt Memorial Museum at Fort Campbell, Kentucky which represents the history of Fort Campbell and the divisions that are and were stationed here. To further our mission, the Foundation is committed to a multi-million dollar fundraising effort to construct The Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum. Exhibits will feature our values through displays, collections, soldier stories, and historic aircraft.

The Korean War began on June 25, 1950 when North Korea invaded South Korea. The war ceased with an armistice on July 27, 1953.
