Friends of Lancaster is a local non-profit charity in Fort Worth that goes out once a month to pass out food and clothing donations to the homeless on East Lancaster Street. This is an amazing grass-roots organization that is helping people on the front lines every single month. Fort Behavioral is honored to be apart of this monthly service work event. This event is open to anyone and everyone who has a heart to serve the community. The more the merrier. You're not required to bring any donations, you're willingness to serve is a great way to help. Anyone that's able to donate items here's the items below that they need help collecting: - Food Items: 150 Snacks (your choice). - Travel Size: Lotion (out), Shaving cream (out), Wipes, Hand Sanitizer (out). - Adult Size: Used Men or Women Shoes, New Men or Women Underwear, Socks. - All Kinds: Blankets, Pillows, Coats, Hoodies, Gloves, Scarves, Bags, Suitcases, Tarps, or Tents "We typically do not do clothing. However, if you have items that you personally want to take out there than you are more than welcome. We just do not have the capacity to store the clothing.
