Last week, we had the privilege of attending the Faces & Voices of Recovery luncheon to celebrate the nearly 23 million Americans in recovery from substance use disorder. We heard from health experts Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP)’s Dr. Rahul Gupta and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)’s Miriam Delphin-Rittmon, Ph.D and Paolo del Vecchio on the transformative nature of recovery and the remarkable progress of the recovery community.? ?? We also joined SAMHSA’s Annual Recovery Walk, an active reminder that while addiction is widespread, recovery is possible.? ?
