We are excited to share that our gallery is stepping away from FORMah name and rebranding as KALINER! This new name reflects a strong influence of our founder's great grandmother on the gallery's journey, along with the evolving vision of the gallery's future. As the gallery steps away from FORMah brand, we will be maintaining our commitment to showcasing exceptional artists overlooked due to age, race and gender, and fostering a thoughtful, dynamic space for contemporary art. We are grateful to our artists, patrons and our community, for being a part of this journey and look forward to continuing our collaboration together under the KALINER name. This change reflects our commitment to cultivating meaningful dialogue, and building a space with integrity and vision. While our name is changing, our mission remains the same— to showcase exceptional contemporary art that challenges, inspires, and resonates. We honour our legacy while stepping into the future with a name that truly represents who we are.

Sharing this press release by art critic and founder of Less Than Half, Hall W. Rockefeller. Hall does a great job describing Jocelyn Fine's artistic process, her inspiration and what makes these artworks so affecting and captivating. Huge kudos also to Maryana Kaliner Streltsov for the important work she is doing at FORMah gallery on the Lower East Side. I love seeing these two women advocate for wonderful emerging and mid-career female-identifying artists. So excited for my sister's inaugural solo show, opening this Saturday, September 7 at 6PM. For more info and rsvp www.theformah.com I look forward to seeing many of you today at the The Armory Show!

I am beyond proud of my sister, Jocelyn Fine, whose first solo exhibition at FORMah gallery on the Lower East Side opens this Saturday, September 7. Many of the paintings evoke shared memories of our childhood but she has done something very new with these mesmeric paintings, at the intersection of abstraction, fantasy, and the natural world. See below for more information about the exhibit and the opening. I look forward to seeing many of you at the opening! If you can’t make it, ‘There’s So Much I Can’t Explain” will be on view through November 2. Kindly rsvp here: https://lnkd.in/ddyCFqm7 Checkout her webite too! www.jocelynfine.com
