Form4 Architecture announces the elevation of James Tefend to CEO Under the joint leadership of CEO James Tefend and Chief Artistic Officer John Marx, AIA, Form4 will continue to amplify its commitment to innovative design for architecture, highlighting civic spaces, creative communities, city planning, technology offices, and educational facilities. Form4’s core mission remains constant: to create loveable, design-forward buildings and interior spaces that inspire and endure. As CEO, James, who has been with Form4 since 1999, will promote growth within the firm’s diverse portfolio of project types while continuing to shepherd his ongoing projects and close relationships with his clients while taking on new responsibilities. James’s leadership style as a team builder and coach, combined with his deep experience, has led to proven project accomplishments spanning more than three decades of his career. Form4 Architecture’s goal for meaningful and successful built work for its clients and positive experiences for its employees is paramount in James’s vision for the company. As James steps into his new role, Form4 acknowledges the significant contributions of Paul Ferro, who has retired from the firm after 26 years. Paul, one of Form4’s founders, will be a consulting architect on select projects. His leadership was instrumental in establishing Form4’s strong presence in the technology office and multifamily housing sectors, working with numerous high-profile clients throughout his tenure.
