Meet Bob! ???? ? Bob is a Superintendent at FLP and has been an integral part of the team for an impressive 25 years! He began his career at FLP as a Drywall Installer, then advanced to the framing crew as a Carpenter, and now expertly leads our operations in his role as a Superintendent. Bob not only does the labor work on the projects, but he also manages and supervises projects and team members, leads our employee training events, and trains in our new hires. ? When we asked what inspires him, he said, “Seeing what I am capable of”.?? Which ties into the story he told us, about one of his greatest accomplishments at FLP being that he hung 100 sheets of drywall himself, in one shift.? What a true testament to his hard work and dedication!???? ? When Bob was younger, he wanted to work for NASA when he grew up. His first vehicle was a ’66 Chevy pickup and his favorite holiday is Christmas. ???? Bob said if he won the lottery tomorrow, the first thing he'd do with the jackpot is expand his shop. ? When asked what he looks forward to each day at work, Bob said it’s the opportunity to solve problems.? He said he enjoys working with his hands, which is why he enjoys the construction industry so much.? He said the best part about working at FLP is the variety of work we do and the fact that no day is ever the same. ? Bob goes above and beyond in every aspect of his role to support FLP and his team members, and we truly appreciate everything he does. Thanks for all you do, Bob! ????

We had a fantastic time at the Northern Valley Career Expo yesterday! ???? It was an awesome day chatting with students about the construction industry and how to build a career within the trades. The event hosted over 2,400 students from 57 local high schools, and everyone had fun trying out the screw guns and taking swings at the bell! ???? Thank you for having us, Northern Valley Careers! ??? Transformation Tuesday ??? V?derstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding, and planting, has a new headquarters in Wahpeton, ND! ???? The groundbreaking ceremony took place in September 2022, and we are excited to reveal the final look of the new space! The 43,000-square-foot headquarters will house about 100 employees and features a full-service cafeteria, dedicated training classrooms, a media theater, and an 11,000-square-foot exhibition hall for employee training and public events. A special highlight of this project was the installation of the final structural beam in August of 2023, which was painted ‘V?derstad red’. All employees were invited to sign the beam before it was set in place. We’re proud to showcase this state-of-the-art facility and honored to have been a part of this project! ????
