The sun is not the only thing shining today! ?? The exterior framing is coming along nicely at the NDSU Bolley Agricultural Research Laboratory. ????? The laboratory spans over 170,000 square feet and is one of the largest capital projects in the university’s history. It’s located right next to the NDSU Peltier Complex, which our team completed last year. This has been a great project to be a part of and we are super excited to see the final look in early fall of 2026!

Meet Oscar!????♂? Oscar started as a General Laborer with FLP over a year ago and is currently enrolled in our in-house Apprenticeship program, working toward his Journeyman’s certificate. Oscar is passionate about the trade, inspired by his brother’s stories about the satisfaction of building projects and seeing them completed. When asked what stands out about FLP, he said, "It’s like family here. The leaders are your leaders, but they’ll also be a friend when you need it." When asked to describe FLP in three words, he said, "striving to learn." Oscar mentioned that everyone on the team is always looking for ways to improve and make things better. If Oscar could visit anywhere, he’d visit Machu Picchu in Peru. And if he won a million dollars, he said he would spend the jackpot on his family. When asked what advice he’d give to new hires, he said, “Always be willing to learn. There’s always a better way to do something, and it’s important to know more than one way to get things done.” We’re proud to have Oscar on our team. His hard work and dedication are truly appreciated, and we are excited to watch him continue to grow in his career! ??
