The holidays are here! Don’t miss out on ordering unique holiday cards for a cause. Our holiday cards spread cheer in TWO ways — these colorful, high-quality cards serve as a great gift for your recipient while giving back to our community! The purchase of just a single pack of cards can help provide $175 worth of groceries to our neighbors facing food insecurity during the holiday season — especially critical as rising utility and healthcare bills in the winter hinder seasonal celebrations. Place your Forgotten Harvest holiday card order by December 10th to receive your order by Christmas, Hanukkah, AND Kwanza! ?? https://bit.ly/3UMDk8G

A non-profit organization dedicated to relieving hunger and food insecurity in metro Detroit.
关于我们
Forgotten Harvest was formed in 1990 to fight two problems: hunger and waste. Forgotten Harvest “rescued” and distributed 40 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from 800 sources, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department-approved sources. This donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, is delivered free-of-charge to more than 200 emergency food providers in the Metro Detroit area. Happy CU Kind Day! It was a great morning spent volunteering with the Alliance Catholic Credit Union team at Forgotten Harvest Farms. In total, we harvested 8,890 lbs of vegetables, which equates to 8,890 meals for metro Detroit families in need! I’m proud to be a part of an industry that so deeply values community giving.
