This is very a big day for Huntress: in reaching $100M ARR, you are in the <1% of startups!??? ?? Three founders (Kyle Hanslovan, Chris Bisnett, John Ferrell), two of whom are military veterans, set out in 2015 to protect SMBs from rapidly evolving cyber threats. In not defending the enterprise, this was definitely the road less traveled, but these three renegades saw a vast and underserved market with unmet needs and were up for the challenge. Fast forward to today, millions of endpoints and identities and hundreds of thousands of SMBs are protected, globally – and they’re just getting started.??? ?? Impressed by the founders’ technical prowess, nuanced understanding of their GTM, and mission focus, Forgepoint Capital and I knew Huntress was something special and so we led the Series A in early 2020 when cyber + SMB was not obvious or sexy.
