Know your facts. Over 50% of employees accept a counter-offer, but 80% of that ground ends up leaving within 6 months. Over 90% leave within a year. Could you be part of the 10-20%? Yes, and there is so much nuance to every situation that you can't lump it into one statistic. BUT -- think long and hard if burning the bridge with the new company whose offer you've accepted is the right thing to do.
