?? Botanical Building Revitalization Update ?? This week marked some exciting milestones! The misters are active, fountain repairs are moving forward, and the interior fountains are up and running. We’re also seeing the planting in progress on the exterior, bringing fresh life to the gardens. As we move into Phase II: The Enhancement Phase, Balboa Park is focused on elevating these historic features while preserving their beauty and integrity for future generations. ?? Botanical Building Revitalization Update ?? Big shoutout to Spectra Company Historic Construction for their amazing work on our fountains, balustrades, and urns this week! Their efforts are preserving Balboa Park’s rich history one detail at a time. ??? Spectra has also worked on structural repairs at the Balboa Park Carousel, masonry restoration at Marston House, and now they're helping us keep the Botanical Building true to its roots. In one of the photos, you can see Jackie Higgins, our Interim Co-CEO and VP of Planning, inspecting one of the urns. ?? Not only is it home to Forever Balboa Park, but its courtyard’s wishing well has also been collecting coins (and wishes!) for decades. Can’t make it to the park to toss your coins?
