Fordham Law's Office of International and Non-J.D. Programs offers a variety of opportunities for U.S. and international students and professionals. Our degree programs attract students from the United States and around the world who seek specialized knowledge, substantive training, and career advancement. We also offer certificate programs and research opportunities for U.S. and foreign-trained lawyers and students, as well as conferences and symposia that explore issues at the forefront of today's global legal practice.

A growing number of law schools, including Fordham Law, offer master’s degrees for non-lawyers to help them excel in a variety of fields where law comes into play. Barbara-Ann Boehler, senior director of the Corporate Compliance & Ethics at Fordham Law program, discussed the benefits of a Fordham Law M.S.L. in Corporate Compliance degree, with The National Jurist. Last week, our office hosted a group of students from Università degli Studi di Milano! Their week long program, "The New Frontiers of Human Rights and their Protection: Italy and the United States", included courses taught by Fordham faculty, panels with participants from both Italy and the U.S., and was capped off with a law firm visit to Dunnington, Bartholow & Miller LLP. We were so happy to welcome them to our Fordham Law community, and can't wait for our paths to cross again! #fordhamlaw #universityofmilan #nyc

Always a pleasure to return at my alma mater, Fordham University School of Law! It was great to attend the LL.M., M.S.L. & S.J.D. Alumni Reception - reconnecting with old friends and colleagues, sharing updates about our lives in New York, and meeting other members of the Fordham Law Alumni community and new international students. A heartfelt thank you to Anthony Agolia and the Fordham Law International and Non-JD team for organizing such a wonderful event. Knowing them well, I’m sure more great gatherings are on the horizon! A special shoutout to Toni Jaeger-Fine whose guidance and inspiration continue to leave a lasting impact on me and so many in the international student community at Fordham Law. If you are a current or prospective LL.M. student at Fordham Law or a fellow alum, or if we missed each other yesterday, feel free to reach out!
