It wasn’t too long ago that Lena Scogna attended the national SWE conference as a student trying to decide where she wanted to start her engineering career. Luckily for us, Lena chose Ford! Since then she has moved through different positions in the Ford College Graduate developmental program, where she’s learned from “many great teams and worked on several outstanding vehicles.” “I’m very excited to be on the other side of the table for the first time to represent Ford at SWE!” Lena says. Come meet her and the rest of the Ford team October 24-26 in Chicago. #WeAreFord #SWE24

Seventy-five lucky employees got to attend the unveiling of the all-new 2025 Ford Expedition and got an exclusive briefing from the team members who developed it. Expedition Chief Program Engineer Adrian Aguirre said, “It’s taking the capabilities up a level, and we see a lot of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ as soon as they get inside.” Want to work for a company focused on wowing our customers? Lynn Simoncini never thought of herself as an innovator when she received her breast cancer diagnosis in 2022. However, after a double mastectomy, she found herself grappling with an unexpected source of pain during a routine activity — driving. “I couldn't believe there wasn't a product made that makes your seat belt comfortable to wear and that also happens to look good,” Simoncini said after her mastectomy. She shared her idea with her partner, Chad Woolums, and together they drafted a proposal for a supportive, comfortable belt designed specifically for post-mastectomy patients. With the proposal in hand, Simoncini took the idea to Emily Obert, Ford experience design director. With Obert's guidance and the help of a team that included design intern Rima Shkoukani, the SupportBelt? began to take shape. Are you interested in working for a company that supports you and your ideas? Visit careers.ford.com for available opportunities. #WeAreFord #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth
