关于我们

The history of Forcht Bank is also the history of Terry E. Forcht, Chairman & CEO of the Forcht Group of Kentucky. A native of Louisville now residing in Corbin, Mr. Forcht became interested in banking working for the Federal Reserve while a student at the University of Louisville in the 1960s. In 1972, while practicing law in Corbin, he was appointed to the board of directors at Corbin Deposit Bank and Trust. His interest in banking grew over the years, and in 1985 he and a group of investors opened their first bank, Tri-County National Bank in Corbin. In the years that followed, Mr. Forcht founded or acquired 12 additional community banks. Today, Forcht Bank has 3 loan production offices, 23 banking centers across Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio, with 260+ employees, and approximately $1.5 billion in total assets - making it one of the largest privately held banking groups based in Kentucky.

Kentucky House and Senate honor Terry Forcht and Forcht Bank on 40th Anniversary Year --- On Wednesday, February 19, Forcht Group of Kentucky Chairman and CEO Terry Forcht was honored by the state Senate and House on Forcht Bank's 40th anniversary year, a notable milestone marking decades of exceptional service to our clients and to communities across the Commonwealth. Senate Resolution 31, sponsored by Senate President Robert Stivers and Senator Brandon Storm, and House Citation of Celebration, introduced by Representative Nick Wilson, formally recognize, honor, and celebrate Forcht Bank and the vision and perseverance of Mr. Forcht. "[Mr. Forcht] believes in helping his state, and he has shown quite the entrepreneurial American way of starting of somewhat of humble beginnings in Louisville, going through school, then moving to the rural areas of the state, prospering, and creating jobs," Stivers said. This award signifies what truly makes this community prosperous. We appreciate those educational leaders in Fayette County Public Schools that give countless hours to educate our youth; they are our future, and we must not forget what they as educational leaders have sacrificed," said Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer Larry Forester. If you've passed by our downtown Lexington Loan Production Office, you may have seen our two new window wraps. These two wraps are an exciting addition to the space, tying together a great partnership and a great project. Our first window wrap, facing Triangle Park, features our Brand Ambassador Trent Noah, a University of Kentucky men's basketball player with whom we have a partnership. The wrap features a life-size Trent standing next to a ruler entitled "How do you measure up with Trent Noah?" Passersby can take a photo with Trent (and, of course, Forky on the opposite side), post the photo to social media with #ForchtBank, and be in the running to win a signed basketball. Our second window wrap, facing West Main Street, culminates our months-long work to kick off the Financial Forchtcast, a monthly financial podcast where our own banking experts help you master money matters. The wrap has a QR code with access to three options to listen to our podcast immediately. Stop by to see us at 390 West Main Street!

Celebrating 40 Years: 1985-2025 When Terry Forcht opened the doors to our first banking location in 1985, our mission was simple: respect for the customer, competitive rates, and service to the community. This year, as we mark our 40th anniversary, our growth and success are a testament to the trust and loyalty of our customers, and we are proud to continue fostering strong, thriving communities for another year. As we commemorate this significant milestone, we're reminded of the core values that have always driven us: giving back, building relationships, change, diversity, and work ethic. These values will continue to guide us as we move forward, ensuring that we remain a trusted partner in your financial journey. 40 years, 23 banking centers, and 3 loan production offices later, we continue to be focused on providing trusted, reliable banking options for decades to come, and another strong year of giving back to our communities. Looking ahead, we're excited for the future and the opportunity to serve you in new ways. Thank you for being with us every step of the way. Here's to many more years!

We're grateful for many things this time of year- especially our community. Last Saturday in Lexington, we celebrated with our 10th year of Pancakes With Santa, where we saw and served over 250 people! We also raised over $400 for Visually Impaired Preschool Services, a nonprofit agency that provides early intervention and educational services to young children who are blind or visually impaired. Thank you to our community for spending a lovely Saturday morning with us at our Hamburg Banking Center, for helping us raise money for an important cause, and for having fun with us. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.
