Celebrating National Employee Ownership Month! ?? Since October 31, 2016, we’ve been proud to call ourselves 100% employee-owned, and there’s no better time to celebrate than National Employee Ownership Month! This week we focused on "E" in ESOP, with Espresso in the courtyard for our first gathering. Over the next few weeks, our ESOP committee will be hosting a series of gatherings, games, and events designed to bring us all together. It will give everyone an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be an employee-owned company and to celebrate the collective effort that drives our success and makes Force stronger. We will keep growing, innovating, and winning—together. ?? #EmployeeOwnership #ESOPMonth #OwnershipCulture #ProudlyEmployeeOwned #TeamWork #CelebratingSuccess

This morning team members from Force had a blast participating in the annual Touch-A-Truck event, hosted by Family School Partners at Clifty Park! This incredible not-for-profit organization, supported by United Way of Bartholomew County , provides free, home-based educational lessons for at-risk children aged 5 and younger. It is our pleasure to be part of their mission today. Events like Touch-A-Truck give young people an exciting, hands-on opportunity to explore the tools their community uses to support them. From construction and medical vehicles, to ice Zambonis and the BCPL book mobile , it's all about creating connections and inspiring curiosity. Force brought out one of our Komatsu excavators, and it was a hit with kids and families! We believe that experiences like these spark an early interest in the vital roles different industries play in shaping the world around us. We're proud to share our passion for construction with the next generation in such a fun and engaging way. #CommunitySupport #ConstructionLife #TouchATruck #EarlyEducation #HandsOnLearning #UnitedWay

Celebrating Opportunity+ Week at Force Construction Every September, Force celebrates Opportunity+ Week—a time to emphasize?our commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and nondiscrimination in the construction industry. Through daily toolbox talks, both in the office and on jobsites, we reaffirm our dedication to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace. For the past 15 years, our Opportunity+ Committee has championed these values, but they’ve been an important principal to Force Construction since our very first project in 1946. While we’re proud of the reputation we've earned in the industry, we're equally proud of the positive environment we create for our team. As we continue building quality projects, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide equal opportunities for all as well. #OpportunityPlus #EqualEmploymentOpprotunities #ForceConstruction #InclusiveWorkplace #BuildingExcellence #BuildingBetterBuilders #NobodyBuildsBetter

What a fantastic day at the Cummins 2024 Golf Scramble for United Way at Shadowwood Golf Course in Seymour! ?? With 57 teams and over 200 participants from companies across Southern Indiana, we had the chance to network, compete, and support United Way’s vital community programs. Force was proud to sponsor Hole #3 with our "Chip the Hard Hat" challenge, where teams competed for the chance to tee off closer to the green. Our team—Brett Siepka, Jackson Lahrman, Jace Rhorer, and Steve Alesia—gave it their all, while Ashleigh Fisher managed the sponsorship hole, handing out prizes and ensuring everyone had a great time. As we reflect on this event and the spirit of community, we also pause to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11. Today, we honor their memory by coming together in unity and supporting causes that make a difference. It was a day filled with fun, connections, and, most importantly, helping raise money for a great cause. We’re excited to continue our partnership with Cummins Inc. and supporting United Way! #UnitedWay #GolfScramble #CommunitySupport #Force #BuildingBetterBuilders #NeverForget

We were thrilled to be one of 10 companies invited to participate in this year's C4 Student Ambassador orientation event in downtown Columbus! Today, teams of promising young adults took part in an interactive scavenger hunt, visiting 10 locations hosted by companies from diverse industries. At each stop, students had the chance to network and learn about career paths aligned with the skills local high school students can develop through the C4 class offerings. A little background on this inspiring program: C4?Columbus?Area Career Connection provides career and technical education to high school students in Bartholomew,?Brown, Decatur, Jackson and portions of Johnson counties in Indiana. The C4 Student Ambassador program began six years ago, selecting top students from various pathways, including Construction, Nursing, and more. These ambassadors play a crucial role in community engagement, leading tours, participating in events, and representing C4 with excellence. Force is proud to support these future leaders and provide them with valuable networking opportunities which aligns perfectly with C4's vision of connecting community resources to offer career education and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. It’s an honor to help pave the way for the next generation of professionals! #StudentAmbassadors #C4Program #Leadership #CareerEducation #ConstructionCareers #BuildingTheFuture #CommunityEngagement

After weeks of virtual design-build meetings, the "Tree of Hope: Building Dreams, Ending Hunger" CANstruction is built! Monday, Force Design, Inc. and Force Construction Company, Inc. teamed up with R.E. Dimond and Associates at the Indiana State Fairgrounds for the annual CANstruction build. This year's event, located in the Ag/Hort Building, embraces the theme "The Art & Nature of Fun." Our team was excited to travel to Indianapolis to help bring this design to life. This tree house structure, made from a mix of tuna, sloppy joes, baked beans, green beans, and ramen showcases our commitment to creativity and combating hunger. After the event, all the non-perishable items used in the build will be donated to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, helping to fight hunger in our communities. We invite you to visit this year's State Fair to see the innovative designs on display and vote on your favorite. Join us in supporting a great cause and celebrating the fusion of art and engineering! #CANstruction #IndianaStateFair #TreeOfHope #Teamwork #Community #GleanersFoodBank #EndingHunger
