Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you for your service. On this holiday, we should be especially aware of the high rate of food insecurity among Veterans. One in nine Veterans does not have consistent access to meals. In a country with excess food, this is unacceptable.

It's Election Day! Make sure you get out and vote for the future President and other elected officials. Some states have food and agriculture on the ballot; see if that's you and make your voice heard.

"Our fantastic driver Eric is one of our newest additions to our driver team. Eric works alongside our wonderful team in Philadelphia to get donations of surplus food to community organizations throughout the Philly Metro area. He has transported hundreds of pounds of food from recreation centers, hospitals, grocery stores, and other food donors to local harm reduction centers, veterans support centers, food pantries, and more nonprofits helping the Philadelphia community. A truck load of 33,696 pounds of bananas was headed for the landfill when FoodRecovery.org stepped in and paired the driver with our partner organization JEE Foods. These bananas were distributed in North Carolina to aid in hurricane relief efforts!
