    "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how" - Friedrich Nietzsche The above phrase is one that we take a lot of inspiration from here at foodpanda Pakistan and this prompted us to think long and hard about how to bring this to life. Our work on this started a year ago when we embarked on a journey to find a purpose that was massive, transformative and audacious but also grounded, linked to our business and close to our hearts. We challenged ourselves to move our business away from merely being a transactional relationship with our stakeholders. How do we translate every action into a deeper and bigger purpose? This prompted us to jot down what impact we bring in people's lives: ?? A parent taking care of their sick child doesn't have time to make food and orders a fresh meal through our app ?? A rider delivering orders earns enough money to be able to afford nutritious meals for their child, combating one of the biggest challenges of the country ie. access to hygienic and safe food ?? Incremental revenue to our partners and suppliers ensuring that they can retain or hire more staff ?? Our colleague being able to afford medicines for their elderly parents through their job working with us Based on this, we came up with a purpose that encompasses our core business of delivering food, groceries and beyond to enabling people with access to safe and nutritious ingredients and meals. Unveiling our purpose: *Meal for every table!* This past month we spent three days across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad driving a simulation so that every colleague is able to see the impact their work has on bringing this purpose to life. Here's to living this purpose every day, with every task and in every decision we take!
