Our?Holiday Grazing Boards Workshop?was a chance to sip, snack, and sharpen not just our knives but also our skills. FFT University events like these are a reminder that growth doesn’t have to be boring—it can be hands-on, delicious, and just plain fun. ??? This class was expertly led by?Louisa Rothman?(Executive Event Chef),?Anne Ariana Dipasupil?(Lead Event Sous Chef | Pastry Chef), and?Ligia Kiss?(Pastry Chef). Their expertise helped every participant craft something uniquely their own while learning pro-level tips to elevate their boards. ? At Food For Thought, we were honored to partner with Wellness House for their unforgettable Hope Grows gala, hosted at the historic Old Post Office in Chicago. This annual event brought together over 500 supporters of Wellness House's mission to provide free, transformative cancer support for individuals and families across Chicagoland. The evening was a celebration of community and resilience, led by co-chairs Pamela and George Pontikis, and Katie and Michael Isadore. Guests enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails and a beautiful dinner created by our team, set against the iconic backdrop of The Old Post Office. The program featured powerful stories from Wellness House participants, a lively auction, and live music by Deja Vu—creating an inspiring atmosphere of hope and celebration. Each year, Hope Grows raises critical funds that fuel Wellness House’s essential programs. Last year alone, nearly 4,000 people attended their services, which include nutrition, exercise, counseling, and more—all at no cost to those affected by cancer.
