Last week, USDA cut $1 billion in funding that supports schools in buying local food. And now, Congress is considering drastic changes to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) that could result in millions of students losing access to school meals that are currently provided at no cost to their families. CEP allows eligible schools to serve breakfast and lunch to all students—no applications, no stigma, just healthy food for kids. TAKE ACTION: Lawmakers need to hear from you.
