The global food system faces a double-header challenge: ?? Food production and consumption are major contributors to climate change—responsible for nearly one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions and widespread environmental degradation. ?? Climate change, in turn, is disrupting land, water, forests, and fisheries—threatening livelihoods, food and nutrition security, and the resilience of communities worldwide.
