We mobilize 6,000+ college students, dining providers, food suppliers, and local businesses in the fight against climate change ? and hunger ??! Through recovering perishable food from college campuses and neighboring communities, food that would otherwise go to waste is now being donated to local nonprofits that feed people experiencing hunger across the U.S.. . ????? Between July 2023 and June 2024, over 3 million meals were donated to communities thanks to recovery efforts by FRN's amazing student leaders and hunger-fighting partners. ?????

?? ?? Last weekend, FRN staff were joined at Chainfest by 5 volunteers and one Alumni from our UCLA student chapter. Together, we recovered 4,976 pounds of surplus food, donating 4,147 meals to Hollywood Food Coalition and The Midnight Mission ?? ?? Thank you for your support in the fight against food waste. We couldn't achieve our mission of fighting waste and feeding people without our awesome student leaders, alumni, and hunger-fighting partners. ??
