Our Annual Gift Wrapping Fundraiser with the Book House Of Stuyvesant Plaza is back! November 29 through December 24, volunteers will be at the Book House ready to wrap your purchases. Thanks so much to the Albany Walmart Supercenter for presenting The Food Pantries for the Capital District and one of our newest member pantries, Macedonia Baptist Church, with $2,000 Spark Good Local Grants at their Grand ReOpening this morning!!! Thanks so much to Jesse S. Sommer and everyone at New Scotland Spirits for organizing another amazing edition of the annual Veterans Day Ruck March Fundraiser last weekend! And a special thank you to all who participated and contributed to this event in support of some great veterans organizations and local food pantries. Swipe through to see photos of some of the food and supplies that were collected and are being distributed to local pantries to make sure their shelves are stocked and ready to feed those in need, especially as we get closer to Thanksgiving.

We had a great time yesterday at the Wellness Fair at the Ohav Shalom Apartments in Albany! Our interns Nana Serbeh (University at Albany School of Public Health) and Anahi Garcia (Siena College) did an excellent job sharing information on local food pantries and other resources, and distributing fresh produce to Ohav Shalom residents!
