关于我们
Food Link is the bridge between distributors and farms that have the capacity to donate fresh surplus food and community organizations that seek nutritious food for people who are in need. Our mission: Food Link is working to create a more equitable food system throughout Greater Boston by rescuing and distributing high-quality, customized food to under-resourced communities and by advocating for systems change. Our vision: Food Link envisions a world in which everyone has abundant nourishing food and a food system in which no edible food goes to waste.

11 employees from Toast volunteered at Food Link — Toast's fourth time volunteering with us! Everyone in the group was excited to play a role in supporting food security: loading our vans for delivery to Medford Community Cupboard and Hearts of Life, quality-checking cabbages, and repackaging eggs. Thank you to these Toasters for lending a hand! Is your organization or company interested in volunteering with Food Link? Visit our website to get started. https://lnkd.in/eeNXPUDE

A recent study analyzed five state-level food waste bans and found Massachusetts was the only one of these states to reduce waste. The study attributes Massachusetts' success to its many composting and food recovery facilities, easy-to-understand language, compliance checks, and noncompliance fines. Food Link is thrilled to play a role in reducing food waste across the state. Thank you to the Food Link community for helping us make a difference! Please join us in thanking the CUMMINGS FOUNDATION for their recent gift to Food Link! These funds, made through their Make a Difference Dollars (MAD$) program, will ensure nourishing fresh foods are distributed daily to our recipient agencies. Food insecurity cannot be tackled alone - we're so grateful to partners like the Cummings Foundation for making our mission possible.
