?? Join us for our annual Turkey Drive “turkey-raiser” at Fortinos! This holiday season, we’re asking you to help make a difference for families in Halton. Stop by a Fortinos location on Saturday November 30th or Sunday December 1st, from 10:00am to 4:00pm and purchase a turkey to donate. Each turkey will go directly to a family in need, bringing warmth and joy to their holiday season. Let’s come together to make sure everyone can enjoy a special meal! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us collect frozen turkeys for those in need in our community. You will inspire Fortinos shoppers in Burlington and Oakville to buy turkeys that will be donated to and distributed by Food for Life in time for the holidays. As of Friday, November 15, 2024, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers began strike activity across the nation. Canada Post has stated that operations are shut down and there will be service delays. Food for Life is closely monitoring the situation. There are many ways you can give that are not dependent on mail delivery: 1) Donate online at www.FoodForLife.ca 2) Call our office at 905-635-1106 ext. 240 to speak with our staff about your donation 3) Drop off your donation at our office located at 2258 Mountainside Drive, Burlington Your generous donation today will be put right to work to help the thousands of neighbours in Halton and Hamilton who will turn to us for food this holiday season.
