Meet Shelly! Shelly Swierkowski is the Development Manager here at Wyoming Food Bank. You may recognize her because she loves to be out in the community talking with and supporting neighbors whenever and however she can. Thank you to Arby's for volunteering with us and helping us nourish our neighbors! ?? ?? Members of the regional Arby’s franchise representing locations across Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado took time during their district meeting to volunteer with Food Bank of Wyoming and give back to the communities they serve. The team worked to assemble 288 mobile pantry boxes and 14 express produce pallets, all of which will be distributed to neighbors across our state. Great work, team! ?? ??

Food Bank of Wyoming is incredibly grateful to Wyoming Community Foundation for their generous $35,000 grant in support of our mission to ignite the power of community to nourish people facing hunger. This funding helps us continue providing fresh, nourishing food to individuals and families facing hunger across the state. In Fiscal Year 2024, we served 55,543 individuals and distributed over 12.3 million pounds of food—a 25% increase from the previous year. With support from partners like the Wyoming Community Foundation, we can continue expanding access to fresh food and essential nutrition for communities across Wyoming.

Since she joined Food Bank of Wyoming in February 2022, Tracy has contributed nearly 300 volunteer hours! ?? ?? Tracy goes above and beyond at the Food Bank, helping with everything from building food boxes for our mobile pantries and delivering boxes to older adult neighbors, to constructing produce pallets, pulling orders, and writing heartfelt letters to our donors and partners. No task is too big or small for Tracy, and she approaches each one with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed. We are incredibly grateful for her unwavering support and the difference she continues to make in our community every day. Thank you, Tracy!
