Meet Fondren Construction Superintendent, Jarrod Hardy! Jarrod has been with Fondren Construction for about 3 years and says that teaching and learning new things while watching people grow is his favorite part of the job. Jarrod graduated high school from Christian Evangelical in Birmingham, AL before going to South Georgia College where he got his Bachelor in Electrical Line work. Most of his experiential background comes from an early childhood of structural and civil site work. Jarrod says he likes to "work hard, play harder" and enjoys being on the water, going fishing, and being with friends and family when he's not at work. #FondrenConstruction #MeetTheTeam

We’re excited to highlight our work on the Bureau of Buildings’ 660 Jefferson Street project, where we’re partnering as a subcontractor under Probity Construction! Our scope of work includes: - Demolition of 75,000 sf of parking lot and sidewalks - Replacing and stabilizing the existing subgrade soils in preparation for new paving - Installing a new storm drainage system and underground ADS Storm Tech detention system - Upgrading site water and sewer systems This is a key project that will improve infrastructure and functionality for the area. Meet Fondren Construction VP of Operations, Eric Nix! Eric has a degree in Finance from Jackson State University and has worked in both vertical and horizontal construction. He has experience in all areas of construction, including: labor hand, operator, foreman, superintendent, project manager, and estimator. He says his favorite thing about his job is working with multiple teams and partners to turn a vision into a reality, as well as building projects that have a positive impact on the communities in which we work. When he is not at work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Mariclaire, and two kids, Mary Myron and Haynes. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, being outdoors. Fondren Construction proudly transformed a 14-acre site into the state-of-the-art Topgolf facility in Ridgeland, MS. Our work included clearing, earthwork, lime stabilization, site utilities, and installing over 5,000 linear feet of storm drainage pipe. We also improved traffic flow to the facility by widening Sunnybrook Road, enhancing access for all visitors. Meet Fondren Construction Superintendent, Daniel "Shorty" Partlow! Shorty has been a valued member of the Fondren team for 2 ? years, bringing decades of experience in heavy civil site work as an operator and foreman in the Jackson Metro area. Shorty’s favorite part of his role is the people—he values the friendships and great work environment that Fondren Construction offers. When he’s not on the job, Shorty enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He especially looks forward to Cruisin’ the Coast every year! We recently completed The Renaissance Shopping Center's retention pond dredging project. In this project, we drained both upper siltation and the lower lake. We also excavated and exported 12,000 cubic yards of accumulated silt to reestablish the capacity and function of the pond. Our services don't stop at construction!
