At NeoCity Academy, students like Jayden are helping shape the future of STEM in Osceola County! By founding a STEM Camp at his school, Jayden empowered fellow student leaders to create their own STEM curriculum, which was later taught to a diverse group of students. This innovative, student-led program provided elementary and middle schoolers in the Osceola County School District with hands-on, engaging STEM experiences that sparked curiosity and learning, inspiring the next generation of students! ????

We're excited to announce a new partnership between the Florida Semiconductor Institute (FSI), Midwest Microelectronics Consortium (MMEC), and the National Science Foundation (NSF) Central Florida Semiconductor Innovation Engine (CFSIE) to expand national leadership in semiconductors!??? ? ? On October 24th, leaders from FSI, MMEC, and CFSIE met to formalize their partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony.????This partnership is strategically aimed at reestablishing global leadership in semiconductor innovation and manufacturing capabilities.? ? The MoU between FSI, MMEC, and CFSIE outlines a partnership that will bolster technical capabilities, provide access and utilization of differentiating digital and physical infrastructure, and will jointly enhance capability and capacity across organizations to unify regional stakeholders from industry, academia, and government.??? Additionally, the partnership seeks to enhance semiconductor education, workforce development, and training, while expanding MMEC's efforts and scaling up semiconductor initiatives and stakeholder alignment across the Southeast region.??? ? By connecting the Midwest and Southern semiconductor regions of the U.S., this partnership promises to unlock new avenues for collaboration and innovation, generating opportunities that can only arise from the combined strengths of these three organizations.??? ? ??
