Foley Hoag attorneys Lawrence Martin, Yuri Parkhomenko, Peter Tzeng and Margaux Mery delivered for government officials from different countries a professional training workshop in Paris in partnership with Durham University’s International Boundaries Research Unit led by Professor Martin Pratt and assisted by Elizabeth Buxton. They were joined by Professor Philippe Gautier of the Catholic University of Louvain, who serves as Registrar of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Through a series of lectures and practical exercises, the workshop focused on practical aspects related to resolving sovereignty and boundary disputes by negotiation, mediation, conciliation, arbitration and litigation.
