The Overwatch x Rescue Crisis Response Center (CRC)recently responded swiftly to an SOS alert for an adventurer who had dislocated their hip. Coordinating with California’s emergency services and the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office, our team quickly developed an urgent rescue plan. Within hours, the adventurer was safely assisted to an ambulance and on the way to receive medical care. With over 25 years in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and critical care air transport, Stephanie brings an exceptional level of expertise to our global operations. Collaborating closely with our Chief Medical Officer, she oversees medical intake, triage, case management, and transports worldwide, ensuring every detail is expertly managed. When a hiker in Ontario reported a broken leg using the Bullitt Satellite Messaging App paired with their Motorola Defy Satellite Link, Overwatch x Rescue’s crisis response team immediately jumped into action. After providing crucial medical advice over text, our team coordinated with local emergency services to ensure help was on its way. While the SAR (Search and Rescue) Team was mobilizing , we remained in close contact with the hiker and the responders, providing them with a live-tracking link and user feedback until the hiker was safely found and transported to the hospital for further care.
