Another week, another app launch! Melissa Kirkup and Michael Reddy headed north last Friday to help South Ayrshire Council launch their new Care Connects app at the Cutty Sark Centre in Ayr. It was great to be part of yet another brilliant event, and to be joined by the care experienced young people with whom we co-produced the app, which is already full of information, events, job opportunities and discounts such as South Ayrshire's Active8 membership for free access to sport and leisure activities. Great to see our friends at London Borough of Tower Hamlets receive an Outstanding rating from Ofsted in a report published yesterday. The experiences and progress of care leavers was also rated outstanding, with mention of the Know How app co-produced by focusgov and their care experienced young people.
