We are honored to have developed content about Leading with Compassion for this course and equally appreciative of the chance to join colleagues from around the world to learn together. The Focus Area for Compassion and Ethics (FACE) will see you all during Module 10 in early February, wishing our students the best of luck until then!

We are overjoyed to welcome the newest team to The Task Force for Global Health, Inc. -- the Migration Health Initiative (MHI). We all have much to learn as they follow the lead of local partners. As they say, "A?guiding principle?of our work is that solutions should be developed in genuine partnership with affected communities."

Preparing for future outbreaks can feel overwhelming in a world dealing with pandemic exhaustion. Dr. Joseph Bresee, Director of The Task Force for Global Health, Inc.’s Partnership for International Vaccine Initiatives (PIVI) program, shares why investing in vaccination systems now can make all the difference when the next pandemic hits. In his recent article with NextBillion, he talks about how countries with strong flu vaccine programs pivoted quickly to deploy COVID-19 vaccines — showing that these systems can save lives in a crisis.
