Honoring Generations of Ranching on National Ag Day Ranching isn’t just a profession — it’s a way of life, passed down through generations. The horizon on the range is more than just a distant line where the land meets the sky — it’s a sight that speaks to the soul of every rancher. It represents resilience, opportunity and the generations who have built their lives beneath its endless expanse. At Envu, that legacy runs deep, not only in the land we help protect but also in the people who make up our team. Take Justin Hossfeld and his son, Craig Hossfeld, P.E. — two men whose lives are deeply rooted in the range and pasture space. Justin, a seventh-generation rancher and our national sales manager for Range & Pasture, grew up on a Wyoming ranch, watching his father manage their land and navigate the challenges that come with it. Today, with more than four decades of firsthand ranching experience, he helps land managers and ranchers access the tools they need to sustain their livelihoods. Craig, an engineer by training, spent his early career in oil and gas before returning to work on ranches. He later ran a company focused on helping ranches with infrastructure upgrades, water rights and general land improvements. Now at Envu, he applies his expertise to digital solutions that make land management smarter and more efficient. His deep understanding of the land has helped shape RangeView?, the digital platform designed to give ranchers better insight into pastures and livestock operations, helping them not just manage today’s challenges but prepare for what’s ahead. And it doesn’t stop there. Justin’s brother, Jarrod Hossfeld, continues the family legacy, bringing his ranching expertise to his role as an area sales manager. His deep knowledge of land management, particularly in the western U.S., is vital in helping local ranchers make informed decisions about preserving their land, preventing wildfire risks and pushing their operations toward a stronger future. Like the Hossfelds and other ranchers, Envu Range & Pasture sees the horizon as more than just a view. It sees it as a symbol of what’s possible. It marks the challenges yet to be met, the innovations waiting to take root, and the stronger, more resilient landscapes we can build together. This National Ag Day, we celebrate not just the ranchers and forage producers across the country but also those within our own company who live and breathe this industry every day. Because for us, supporting range and pasture isn’t just business — it’s personal. And we’ll be with ranchers every step of the way, leading them on a path to new horizons. #NationalAgDay #Ranching #Agriculture #ThankARancher #Envu #RealPeopleRealImpact
