Flywheel Fund is a member-managed capital fund based in Bloomington, Indiana. We invest in early-stage and high-potential startups. Flywheel Fund is committed to investing a minimum of 13% of our fund to Black founders and teams. In-person office hours at The Mill: Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 We screen companies continuously to find the one that will be considered for investment every other month. The three main criteria we look for are: 1. Team 2. Market 3. Product Because we invest in early, team is extremely important. And in particular for software and technology, we’re looking for capital-efficient companies.

Article on Hypepotamus ? 2 articles from IBJ Media ? Apparently CNBC or Fox Corporation featured us on TV this morning ? Our prod servers crashed twice due to underestimated login traffic ? Over 427 unread emails in my inbox ? Launched a $1,000 Cuts giveaway (see Linktree for details) ? Had to put my phone on DND since I'm getting calls every 5min I’ve heard from teachers, new parents, and even a few grandparents, all saying “I wish I had found something like Habits Inc. sooner.” Each message reminds me that we’re all in this together. SOME EXCITING NEWS... ?? I’m beyond thrilled to announce that Habits Inc. has closed an oversubscribed $1.1 million pre-seed round led by Atlanta Ventures! This is a huge milestone in our mission to help millennials and young families find the perfect financial advisor. A few years ago, at 26, I was sitting in a J.P. Morgan conference room, clueless. I had a good job and was making good money, but I completely lost when it came to managing my own finances. Every so-called “solution” felt more like a sketchy dating site. They just wanted my personal info, but never actually helped me. I couldn’t shake the feeling there had to be a better way. So I did what most people advised me NOT to do. I left my comfortable job, spent my savings, and started manually matching young families with financial advisors from my tiny apartment. It was crazy, but I believed in it. To today, Habits has: ? 2,000+ families served ? 50+ vetted advisory firms ? Hundreds on the waitlist ? Growth that’s doubling every month These milestones happened because of an awesome community of families, advisors, teammates, and investors. Huge shout-out to my co-founder, Veera B.
