Excited to announce Pyka has secured $40M in Series B funding to accelerate the commercialization of our dual-use autonomous electric aircraft! ??? This milestone would not be possible without the incredible support of our investors and customers, who share our mission to bring society a safer, cleaner, and more cost-effective form of transportation enabled by autonomous electric flight. This new investment will support further growth of our domestic manufacturing capabilities, boost production of our Pelican Spray and Pelican Cargo aircraft, and enable expanded operations with both U.S. and international customers. Additionally, it will help Pyka advance new capabilities to support contested logistics operations for the U.S. Department of Defense and allied partners. Pelican Spray has landed in the USA! ???? Heinen Brothers Agra Services, one of North America's largest privately-owned aerial application service providers, is now the first U.S. customer for Pyka's autonomous electric crop protection aircraft, Pelican Spray. This partnership follows the Federal Aviation Administration's groundbreaking authorization of Pelican Spray for commercial use, making it the largest ever #UAS to achieve this status and enabling us to offer the safety and cost-saving benefits of our technology to American farmers. Last week, we were invited to showcase our operations at the world's largest military air show, The Royal International Air Tattoo. Over the course of the event, we had our beautiful Pyka Pelican Cargo on static display in the RAF village, where we spoke with visitors about the opportunities that this, the world's largest all-electric uncrewed freight aircraft, represents for civilian and humanitarian use cases. The Pyka Pelican Cargo can carry up to 180kg of cargo distances of up to 400km. It is a unique, highly automated, short take-off and landing aircraft capable of taking off and landing in less than 150m on grass, dirt, and gravel. ??
