With 20 years of experience, Wes brings a unique blend of creativity and execution to our team. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to elevate the quality and vision of our projects. One of his standout achievements includes heading up the iconic SXSW Center in downtown Austin—a 280,000 SF, 13-story, LEED Gold, Class A office building designed by the world-renowned Pei Cobb Freed Architecture. This landmark project, known for its unique curvilinear shape and breathtaking views of the State Capitol, features a 60’ column-free span, a stunning rooftop garden, and an activated lobby that embodies the spirit of SXSW and Austin.?Wes also completed two interconnecting floors of SXSW’s corporate offices overlapping with the Core & Shell schedule and the Butler Snow offices, further demonstrating his expertise in delivering dynamic and functional interior spaces. The Retail Connection has officially broken ground on Manor Crossing, a state-of-the-art 150,000-square-foot shopping center that will serve as the centerpiece of a 63-acre master plan located at the Northwest Quadrant of US Highway 290 and FM 973. ?? The Retail Connection and its development arm, Connected Development Services, are proud to partner with Butler Family Interests, the long-time owners of the property since 1971. The ceremony featured prominent figures, including Dr. Christopher Harvey, Mayor of Manor, Scott Moore, City Manager, members of the City Council, as well as representatives from the Fire and Police departments. Key project partners, including architects Cuaso and Icon, engineer Daniel Stewart with DEC, and general contractor Flynn Construction were also in attendance. ?? Located between major retail anchors HEB and Home Depot, Manor Crossing will cover approximately 18 acres and consist of four primary buildings. It will house a dynamic mix of retail, restaurants, entertainment, and service-oriented businesses. The development will feature a family-friendly atmosphere, complete with a pocket park near TJ Maxx and Rack Room Shoes, creating a vibrant space where visitors can shop, dine, and enjoy entertainment all in one destination. ???? Several prominent national retailers and household names have already committed to Manor Crossing, including TJ Maxx, Burlington, Planet Fitness, Five Below, Rack Room Shoes, Jersey Mike’s, James Avery, McAlister’s, Mattress Firm, Tropical Smoothie, and Tomlinson’s Feed.??In addition to Manor Crossing, HEB is breaking ground on a 100,100-square-foot grocery store on 20 acres within the 63-acre master plan. HEB’s project, valued at $26 million, is expected to commence construction this month. Groundbreaking Milestone at the Daniel J. Leeman MD & Elite Surgical Center of Georgetown! We’re excited to announce a major step forward as we break ground on this state-of-the-art medical facility, designed to provide world-class care and innovative surgical services to the Georgetown community. Flynn Construction is proud to continue our partnership with Dr. Daniel J. Leeman and the Elite Surgical team on this exciting project, as well as our continued collaboration with Dunn & Drinkard Development Company. Just behind the job site is the Medical Towers at Georgetown, a 3-story building that we also had the privilege of constructing. This new surgery center is being designed as a standalone, one-story building — a custom, build-to-suit solution that perfectly supports the surgical services it will house. And there’s more to come! We’re also preparing for the next phase of development in the area, with plans to break ground on additional medical space adjacent to the Medical Towers in the coming year.
