Flying with pets is becoming increasingly popular, and most commercial airlines can’t accommodate dogs over 25lbs. Pet owners turn to private charters, which are often inaccessible due to cost. The market needs more cost-friendly options to enable pet owners to fly with their medium or large dogs. Kleo is on a mission to make air travel affordable and accessible to dog breeds of all sizes. People are paying $7K–$16K per seat to fly their dogs privately… and still struggling to find flights. Demand for private jet travel with dogs is skyrocketing, but the system is completely broken: ? No centralized platform: Owners are stuck messaging strangers in chaotic Facebook groups, hoping to coordinate a shared charter. ? Limited flight options: Most pet-friendly operators only offer pre-determined routes, leaving travelers stranded if their destination isn’t on the list. ? Empty planes going unused: Charter flights that could accommodate dogs often fly without passengers because there’s no way to efficiently match supply with demand. The opportunity? A marketplace that connects high-paying dog owners with available flights and others looking to split costs. Imagine a platform that: ? Uses AI to match travelers with similar routes & timelines ? Finds private jet inventory that accommodates pets beyond the limited pre-set routes ? Enables seamless cost-sharing to make private travel more efficient & accessible (will never be "cheap") ? Automates coordination, payments, and flight confirmations Right now, people are already paying $10K+ per seat, but they’re struggling to find flights. The demand is there. The supply is there.
